So I finally go a little time off last weekend and Kim, my bro Hector, Cookie and I went up to Pappa Haught's Mountain. It was a good time as usual. There was music, drinking, eating, hanging out with old friends and meeting new ones. Besides that I have been up to the normal work-school-work routine and doing my best to keep up with it all. One good thing in all that is I took my last midterm ever on Thursday and that rocks, so we'll see how those tests went and all that. 2 months to go and counting...
In gaming news the only two things that are coming out that I am concerned with are Fable 2 on the 21st and Gears of War 2 on November 7th. Besides that I have just been finishing games up that I haven't played in a while and thinking about picking up others that I missed.

Ok I know it has been for really-reals a very long time since I posted. But, such is the life of a full-time student, part-time web developer and all-the-time nerd. So lets do a quick recap you and I.
Started school and it is goin well. I'm doing 5 classes, 4 in-class and 1 online. So far so good, I'm pretty sure I have an A in all of them thus far. The online one is an "Event Driven Programming" course using Java. So what does that mean? Basically a huge amount of event handling, dealing with listeners, and way more GUI than I ever really cared to know.
Work has been ok, not doing too much new stuff. I am technically the dev lead on a project which has its ups and downs. Also, I am hoping to have the opportunity to mess around with some .Net goodness in the near future but that's about it.
Lastly, because I don't even want to waste a gaming post on it, The Force Unleashed sucked! Don't buy it, unless you are the guy on amazon who is in the process of buying it from me now. It had the potentially to be epic but just ended up leaving me feeling empty, sad and a little hungry. If you want to read more check it out on Life With Games.

I have officially started realizing that school starts in less than a week. I'm not terribly excited about this
semester just because all but one of my classes are at night (not by choice). So I will be getting very tired and very sick of it quite soon, but I will also say overall I'm happy. Why might you ask? Well I get to see the friends that are scattered much farther south than I normally travel, I get to learn a bit more about Java, not to mention that it is my last semester! It's finally happened I am graduating after 5 1/2 years, so mark January 10th on your calendar, it will be a day to remember.

So I have been hearing an awful lot about this crazy thing called the internet and decided I needed to see what it was all about. So I sat down in my chair and looked at every page out there. Suffice it to say I had to sit through countless hours of porn, have seen things that have caused damage from which I will never truly recover, and learned more about Hannah Montana than any person should ever know about another. But all in all I am proud to now have my own little plot of virtual land to call home.
